A house that perches lightly and cantilevers out towards the valley below.

Points North House is sited on a steeply sloping block in Bundjalung Country and looks north out towards the MacPherson Ranges.

A singular masonry spine anchors the house to site while allowing it to perch lightly and cantilever out towards the valley below. The spine also acts as an organising element, with the house splitting either side to allow northerly aspect and views from both upper and lower living levels.

Materials chosen are robust, modest and sensitive to the bushfire constraints of site while making every effort to connect our client to her beautiful bushland setting.
